If you want to get to the Orange Line at State Street Station, use the Blue Line subway instead. Just get on a Massport shuttle bus outside the terminal and it will drop you at Airport Station. There are also free Massport shuttles to the Rental Car Center if you’re hiring a car, or you can take a taxi downtown for about $45 – the journey takes around 25 minutes in good traffic. Flying from Manchester Airport
You can walk between Manchester Airport’s three passenger terminals – there’s a skylink connecting Terminals 1 and 2, which are about a 15-minute walk away from each other. There’s a covered walkway between Terminals 1 and 3, which are more like five minutes apart. American Airlines and British Airways fly from T3, whereas Delta Airlines fly from T2, so check where you’re flying from before you arrive. If you’re here for a while, there are plenty of shops and pre-bookable lounges, as well as Travelex UK currency exchange services in all three airport terminals.

Boston Logan Airport is more officially known as General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport. The airport has four terminals – A, B, C and E – and Terminal E is for international arrivals. The airport has free Wi-Fi, ATM machines, children’s play areas and plenty of places to eat. There’s also a Boston Logan International Airport 9/11 Memorial, which honors the victims of September 11. If you’ve hired a car for onward travel, follow the signs to the Rental Car Center. Otherwise, there are signs for ride-sharing services and taxis, and the Silver Line subway is just outside the terminal.
