The airport’s fast and frequent shuttle bus leaves from outside arrivals in each terminal. You can expect a service every 10 minutes during the day, and every half an hour in the evenings. Expect to pay around RMB 16 each way. Bus

HKIA is served by a fleet of efficient public buses, taking passengers into the heart of the city and surrounding areas. Airport bus services start with the letter 'A' in front of the bus route number and run from around 6 am to midnight. External or city-based bus routes have an 'E' in front of their number and run from around 5.30 am to midnight but all go to main transport hubs, major city and suburban locations.

Taxis

There are taxis available outside every terminal (T1, outside gates 3 to 5, T2 outside gates 3 to 7, T3, refer to the signs in the terminal building). The minimum charge is RMB 10 covering the first 3km. The rest will be charged at RMB 2 for each additional kilometre. Expect to pay a little more after midnight.
