There's a different theme each year for the Christmas lights, which are best viewed by cruising down Orchard Road, perhaps by open-top bus.

December - Marathon Singapore 

Full marathon, 10km, 10km wheelchair, 5km fun run and a kids' dash are on the agenda, from Orchard Road, across the city to finish at City Hall.
