Where can we take you?

Brisbane - Food and Drink

From fish and chips in the open air to stunning waterside bistros, Brisbane’s culinary offerings are a varied affair.

Visit Portside for a fabulous view with your food. Many of the restaurants by the river have outdoor seating to take advantage of the area’s scenery and the city’s great climate meaning that Portside is a busy, vibrant place to dine.

Chinatown’s range of great restaurants aren’t limited to just Chinese fare - you can also find Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotian meals in a sociable environment at bargain prices.

In Bulimba there are a variety of restaurants with a casual vibe, many are al fresco and nestled in amongst the area’s historic cinema complex and boutiques which span the main dining precinct, Oxford Street. There are plenty of cafes, too, where you can chill out and watch the world go by.

Dining in the suburb Woolloongabba will mean a bit of wandering as these eateries are spread around this revitalised area, with cosy modern restaurants, French bistros, intimate wine bars and cafes dotted at intervals amongst the quirky shops.

For quick bites whilst on the go, head to the area around the Queen Street Mall, where amongst classier eateries you’ll find pizza joints, pasta places and open air cafes.

Over in The Valley, the growth and energy of this area has fused into the cuisine, where quality Asian dishes can be found as well as European and Middle Eastern cuisine in trendy venues with a vibrant atmosphere.
