Québec Airport Guide

This amazing destination 7 hours from the UK is served by a number of different airports, with the two busiest being Montréal-Trudeau and Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

Montréal-Trudeau
This is the busiest airport within the province of Québec and the fourth busiest in Canada, with more than 13 million passengers passing through yearly.
With the airport dealing with departures, arrivals and connecting flights, there’s plenty to do when you arrive, or whilst you wait to fly back home. There’s a wide selection of restaurants, boutiques, services and a National Bank World MasterCard lounge to keep you entertained.

On arrival
When you arrive at the airport you can find out where your baggage will be arriving by consulting the illuminated display panels. There are also luggage trolleys to use, available free of charge.

Transport
After collecting your luggage you’ll find a number of useful services, such as the information counter, at the public arrivals hall. When you leave the terminal you’ll find a number of transportation services, including an express bus, taxis and limousines to help you reach your destination. There’s also a train service which can be reached via a free mini bus, and there are a number of car rental services to be found outside the terminal.

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport
This is the second busiest airport, with more than one million passengers a year.

With a whole host of different restaurants, bars and shops to keep you entertained whilst you wait for your flight, you can also take advantage of extras such as the kids zone, comfort zone and the free wireless connection. This is an airport with your best interests in mind.

Transport
There are various different forms of transport you can use when leaving the airport to reach your intended destination. At the terminal’s information desk you’ll be able to contact a number of limousine and taxi services. Taxis charge flat rates varying from $15.00 to $35.00, depending on where you’re travelling.

If you are travelling with people with motor disabilities, then the information desk can provide you with contacts for companies that meet your requirements. On the main floor of the airport’s administrative building, you’ll find a number of car rental companies, where you can rent a vehicle to satisfy your needs. You can also reserve these before your arrival at the airport.

From Monday to Friday there is a fully operational bus terminal for your convenience. Rates are $7.25 for a day pass, or $3.00 exact change.
