Delta Air Lines is a United States carrier which serves more than 160 million customers each year. The airline’s headquarters are in Atlanta, USA, but the airline serves a global network - flying to 350 destinations in nearly 70 countries on six continents. Since the airline began transporting passengers in the 1930’s, Delta have become a founding member of the Skyteam Alliance, introduced the SkyMiles frequent flier scheme, supported Delta SkyClub lounges in 50 airports and can now boast more than 700 aircraft. The airline has an impressive reputation which is still being built upon, with an investment of $2billion through 2012 and 2013.

Delta flies to international destinations from London Heathrow and London Gatwick and Manchester Airport.
Passengers with Delta can choose to check-in for their flight online – this can be completed anytime within 24 hours of the flight departing. Passengers may choose to print their boarding pass at home, at the airport or may be able to have an ‘eBoarding Pass’ sent to their mobile device.
Passengers also have the option of choosing to check-in from their mobile phone via an application. Delta allow passengers to download a boarding pass, check their flight’s status, terminal and gate information – however, check this is accepted at your departure airport as some locations do not yet have the capabilities to read the ‘eBoarding Pass.’
Another option is that passengers check in from their social media page; Delta’s Ticket Counter lets you book a trip, check flight status and even check in without leaving popular websites like Facebook, where you can also choose to share your trip details with family and friends.
Alternatively, passengers may choose to check in at the airport check-in desk, or at a Delta automated check-in kiosk.
