Baggage Allowance - Delta Air Lines
All Delta fares include a free baggage allowance; this will differ according to which class of travel and ticket type chosen. If you need to carry additional baggage, this can be placed in the hold but you will be charged.
One bag is permitted, not exceeding 7kg in weight or 115cm maximum linear dimensions. One personal item can also be carried onto the aircraft (purse / laptop case etc) which must be able to fit under the seat in front of you and cannot be larger than 45cm x 36cm x 20cm.

One bag is permitted, with maximum length of 58cm and maximum weight of 23kg. First and Business Class passengers may check up to three bags up to 70 lbs (32 kg) each at no charge on Delta.
Passengers travelling with children may also carry one fully collapsible pushchair and one car seat, plus the adult allowance.
Passengers may be eligible for additional bags according to their membership of the SkyMiles frequent flier program. Members should check their allowances with the airline and partners.
Active duty U.S. military personnel travelling on orders to or from duty stations are allowed up to three checked bags in Economy Class and up to four checked bags in First and Business Class on Delta and Delta Connection® carriers at no charge. Each bag may weigh up to 32 kg and measure up to 203 linear cm.
Musical instruments or equipment can be checked if the total linear dimension (length + width + height) does not exceed 305cm and provided the weight, including the case, does not exceed 45kg.
Sporting equipment including fishing poles, golf bags and ski or snowboard equipment may be checked into the hold, but should be properly packed and must be within the specified weight category – an extra baggage cost may be charged.
