Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) is an international airport located at Dyce, around 6 miles from the Aberdeen city centre. It serves a range of worldwide destinations, carrying around 2.7 million passengers each year. The airport is owned and operated by BAA, which operates another 5 airports in the UK. As well as the 1 main passenger terminal, there are 3 terminals dedicated to North Sea helicopter operations and a small terminal used for oil company charter flights to the Shetland Islands.
