Birmingham Airport (BHX) is an international airport situated 6 miles southeast of Birmingham city centre. It flies to both destinations across the world and domestic airports, serving 40 different airlines and thousands of routes from the single terminal airport. While all 3 airport terminals are non-smoking, each has a dedicated outdoor smoking area / terrace once passengers have passed through security.

Birmingham Airport is accessible by bicycle, and the left luggage facility can arrange to store bicycles for a fee.

The airport was once an ‘Aviation Experience’ where anyone could view aircraft and buy aviation memorabilia from within the airport; however, this facility has now closed. Birmingham Airport has announced that it plans to open a new viewing facility but there is currently no information as to when this may be available.
