London Gatwick Airport (LGW) is London's second biggest international airport; it serves a combination of domestic, short haul and long haul flights through a large number of different airlines.   • Gatwick does not make tannoy announced flight calls, so all passengers must check the television monitors for any information regarding their flight, including boarding time and flight number.

  • Passengers are advised that they should arrive at the airport with enough time to pass through security; it is advised that:

  • International flights passengers should check in at least three hours before departure.

  • European flights passengers should check in at least two hours before departure.

  • Domestic flights passengers should check in at least one hour before departure.

  • International connections do not require going through Immigrations or Customs but all International to Domestic connections do.

  • Domestic to International connecting passengers can use special Immigration check points if baggage is through-checked.
