Destination info

Las Vegas is a holiday destination like no other; from the bright lights of the Strip to the glamour, magnitude and creativity of the Las Vegas sights, for a first time visitor the city is unlike anything they’ve seen before. Whether you want to visit the Eiffel Tower or the Egyptian Pyramids, see giant sharks or lions within your hotel, or just win big in one of the casinos, Las Vegas has something for everyone.

Las Vegas is situated in the Nevada desert – so expect hot heat during the day, cool chills at night and extensive air-conditioning in all restaurants, stores and casinos. Most people fly into Las Vegas McCarran Airport – situated just a mile or so from the Strip, you’ll find it easy to grab your bags and head straight to your hotel. Regardless of which terminal you fly into, a taxi rank can be found close to the baggage reclaim area and a trip into town should take under 30 minutes.
