Excelsior Hotel, Hong Kong - Rooms
There are 863 rooms and 21 suites to choose from at the Excelsior, Hong Kong. You have the choice of three kinds of view, full or partial (side-on) view of Victoria Harbour, or you’ll be looking over the city and Victoria Park.
A Superior Room has room for two, with choice of beds, as well as a small sofa, and a working area. Just some of the in-room features include a flatscreen TV, wired/wireless fast, high quality internet access, iPod-compatible entertainment system, plus the comfort of plush terry robes. And full air-conditioning, of course.
Between the 14th and 33rd floors are the Superior Side Harbour View Rooms. As the name suggests, you get to get a partial view of Victoria Harbour. Again, there’s room for two, with a choice of beds.
For full-on views of the harbour, choose a Deluxe Harbour View Room, between the 5th and 18th floors, once again accommodating two, with a choice of bed types.
Higher up, a Grandluxe Harbour View Room has wonderful views over Victoria Harbour towards Kowloon and sleeps two people.
The first of the rooms that allows you access to the special privileges and unique benefits of the Executive Lounge on the 31st floor is an Executive Superior Room. It has views of the city or Victoria Park. Then there’s an Executive Side Harbour View Room, or for the full view of Victoria Harbour, an Executive Deluxe Harbour Room. The latter has a separate bath to relax in.
With room for three people, an Executive Suite has a partial harbour view, as well as a comfortable sitting room with sofa, chairs, and a coffee table. The big bathroom has both a bathtub and shower. Twice-daily housekeeping, and a Nespresso coffee machine complete the picture.
A Deluxe Suite accommodates three people, has one bedroom, and a living room with two sofas and a work desk, in addition to a sumptuous bathroom.
The Presidential Suite is the ultimate ‘harbour view’ accommodation. One of the beds is a four-poster, and the spacious marble bathroom has its own Jacuzzi and walk-in shower. The living room has a large dining table with room for gatherings of up to twenty. The entertainment kit is very high-tech and, of course, like all Executive level rooms and suites, there is access to the Executive Lounge.
