Dubai is an easily accessible city, with visitors entering via Dubai International Airport, which is fairly central – around 5 kilometres from Downtown Dubai. Public transport around the city can be sporadic but local taxis are copious and it’s easy to rent a car if you desire. Remember too, that Dubai is a ‘duty-free’ zone which makes it a fabulous place for shopping!
