Sydney - Airport Guide
Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD) is Australia's busiest airport, situated a brisk 8 kilometres south of the city. International Terminal (T1) handles all international flights. Connections to the city are easy, as the airport is on the city's train routes, and is well serviced by bus, taxi and private shuttle services.

Train
The airport train service, part of the city's CityRail network, offers a fast, efficient connection to Sydney's central CBD area for around A$16. Trains run from 5am to 12.30am, but as they're on the main commuter line into the city, they tend to get very busy at peak times.
Taxis
Taxis to the city centre will set you back around A$30 (The Rocks $35-40.00, Manly A$50, Parramatta A$80-100). You can expect to pay A$2.50 airport pick-up surcharges.
