History
The only walled city in North America, 400-year-old Québec City is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The magnificent city is filled with cobbled streets, which now burst with fantastic boutiques and unforgettable bistros. You can also view a number of historic sites, enjoy historic walking tours or visit the Huron-Wendat traditional Native American Village.
Visitors can also walk along the promenade outside the Hotel Château Frontenac for amazing views over the St Lawrence River and the old Lower Town. Make sure you take a trip to Le Petit Champlain, a commercial shopping street where you’ll find local Québécois selling arts, crafts and produce.
