British Airways air miles
Those using British Airways can acquire air miles through the BA’s Executive Club. Air miles are rewarded to customers depending on the distance flown, cabin flown in, ticket held and membership of the Executive Club. Passengers can also acquire air miles by booking with a BA hotel or car rental partner.
British Airways is also a member of the Oneworld Airline Alliance, which includes partners such as American Airlines, Finnair, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Lan Airlines, Malév, Mexicana, Qantas, Royal Jordanian and S7 Airlines.
For passengers flying with a Oneworld affiliated airline, they can also earn extra air miles on their Executive Club Account; you can then spend your air miles on various Oneworld benefits. In order to gain Oneworld Emerald tier membership passengers need to be an Executive Club Gold member. In order to gain Sapphire status, an Executive Club Silver account should be held.
Oneworld frequent flier benefits include; worldwide airport lounge access, priority boarding and preferred seating.
