What does ATOL offer?
Financial protection and the means to return home for flight inclusive holidays if the company you book with fails.
How does ATOL differ from ABTA?
Some ABTA members offer additional financial protection for non-ATOL products. ABTA members are governed by ABTA’s Code of Conduct, under which you will receive high service standards before, during and after booking your holiday.
Did you know?
If you book a flight & hotel/car hire separately, but through the same company and within 24 hours of each other, you are ATOL protected - this is known as a Flight-plus holiday.

Why you should visit Abu Dhabi

Escape the snowy travails of the late British winter and whip out the bikini or board shorts for a spot of off-season sun lounging. Your surroundings, as is Abu Dhabi’s way, will more likely than not be geared towards the grandiose and luxurious.

Wonder at the lavishness of the 7-star Emirates Palace hotel and the ancient artwork on display, or withdraw a golden trinket from the ATM, the world’s first such experience. Compare this to how the rulers of the past spent their time at the Qasr al-Hosn, the capital’s oldest stone building.

Be sure to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an incredible 30-acre shrine that can welcome 40,000 worshipers. The decoration inside matches the majesty of the exterior and you can walk on the world’s largest Persian carpet, measuring 133 metres long by 41 wide. Afterwards head down to the waterfront Corniche and kick back on the white sands before retreating to the promenade for a sheesha and a bite to eat.

For your adrenaline hit try to coincide a trip with the Formula 1 Grand Prix on Yas Island, or enjoy attractions such as Formula Rossa at Ferrari World, a roller coaster that hits almost 150mph. Yas Waterworld offers a different variety of fun, and with rides such as the Bandit Bomber, is one of the world’s top water parks.

For something a little more traditional, head to the markets of Al Mina and prepare to haggle your way to bargains on anything from fresh seafood, to exotic looking home ware and plants.
