Holidays in Pattaya

A vibrant destination bursting with energy, take a look at our Pattaya holidays on Netflights.com and let us whisk you away to this fascinating part of Thailand.

Located on the eastern shores of the Gulf of Thailand, which is around 60 miles southeast of Bangkok; Pattaya is a resort that grew from humble origins, as a sleepy fishing village. It couldn't be more different now, with a booming tourist industry that takes advantage of a stunning setting, which is complemented by a plethora of welcoming hotels and huge shopping centres.

With around 10 million annual visitors, Thailand has plenty to offer tourists, with many sights, landmarks and activities available in the area. The Sanctuary of Truth is perhaps the foremost sight to discover; a cultural monument that celebrates various peoples and religions, which is made completely from wood.

Be sure to check out the huge golden Buddha that dominates a forested hill between south Pattaya and Jomtien; while more moderately sized artwork can be found at the Viharn Sien museum. Meanwhile a different style of culture can be enjoyed at the Hopf Brew House, which brews its own beer and serves wood-fired pizzas.

Of course one of the major draws of Thailand, is the countless number of islands that can be enjoyed. Just over four miles from the coast of central Pattaya you'll find Ko Lan, a small island delightfully framed by sea and sand.

Another of the country’s great pulls is the amazing scuba diving, and there are plenty of opportunities to do so in Pattaya. There are numerous dive centres that can be used for fun dives or to gain qualifications, and you can share some experiences with turtles, sharks, dolphins and even a whale shark if you're lucky.
