Holidays in Grenada

A stunning retreat like no other, Grenada holidays are sure to enchant holiday makers the world over.

Lying in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, Grenada boasts a sublime setting that’s hard to beat when it comes to sun, sand and sea. Those wishing to kick back and soak up some rays will not be disappointed, although there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy, should you prefer to add a little adventure into your trip.

Most of Grenada’s tourism is focussed in the vicinity of the attractive capital St George’s; with a good selection of hotels to suit most styles and budgets. The island is less developed than other Caribbean destinations such as Barbados and Jamaica, meaning it retains more of its natural beauty, and doesn’t offer the large resort-style accommodation that’s available elsewhere.

The southwest of the island offers the largest concentration of hotels, bars and restaurants, and is busiest when it comes to activities. Sailing, diving and hiking are all popular among travellers who like to mix up their time on the beach.

Whether you want to discover the rainforest with wildlife that includes rare Mona monkeys and armadillos, swim in the Concord Falls, bubble away in the waterholes of the River Sallee Boiling Springs, or delve into the reasons behind the nickname of the Spice Island; there’s plenty to explore when it comes to Grenada holidays.
