What if I still want to travel?

I DO NOT want to cancel, can I still take my trip?
If your flight is still scheduled to go ahead and you have the relevant documents and permissions to enter a country, you can still fly.
Please be aware that some airlines have reduced the number of flights that are operating, so you may have a schedule change.
Please keep up-to-date with these changes by checking the airline’s website under “manage my booking”.
We would also suggest that you read all information provided by the Foreign Office. -
What does 14 days in quarantine mean?
When you arrive in the UK, you will not be allowed to leave the place you’re staying for the first 14 days you’re in the UK (known as ‘self-isolating’).
This is because it can take up to 14 days for coronavirus symptoms to appear.

How do I keep up-to-date with notifications?
Visit the 'my booking' section of the airline’s website. Here you will find all the up-to-date information about your flight schedule.

What happens if things change whilst I’m out of the country?
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) are currently advising against all but essential travel. Therefore if you have a flight only booking and you choose to fly, you will be liable for any costs incurred to get back to the UK if your flights are cancelled. If you have booked a package holiday then you would be covered by your ATOL protection.

What are airlines doing to limit the risk while travelling?
Airports have introduced many measures in order to protect customers. These measures include, keeping a safe distance, regular cleaning of every service from online check in desk, self-service stations. Through the process of security to boarding there is continued safe distancing with all surfaces being regularly cleaned.
Airport and airlines in partnership have introduced sanitising stations where customers will be able to hand wash and sanitise throughout her journey. Airline/Airport staff will all be wearing facemasks when in close contact with customers.
There are health screening and temperature checks at airports to support customers to ensure everyone who is flying is symptom free.
Airlines are cleaning aircraft to hospital standards by fogging all surfaces with high grade disinfectant in all cabins before every flight. Some airlines are offering health packs to provide provision for customers such as medical grade masks, surface wipes and hand gel.

Are there any charges for changing my flight to another date?
This varies by airline. You can check your airline’s policy here or check on their website.

Why does it sometimes cost more to change my dates?
Fare differences occur through changes in travel season and availability. However some airline policies are allowing you to change your flight to any season or destination in their network free of charge. You will find all the airline amendment policies here.

Can I change my destination if I choose to rebook?
If the airline permits this in their policy then yes. The airline policies can be found here.

What if I want to change but the airline has no flexible change policy?
We can only amend flights in accordance with the airline’s policy. Take a look at your airline’s policy here or check on their website.

How do I contact you to amend my booking?
Firstly, check the terms of your airline’s amendment policy, this can be found here.
If you are eligible you need to complete our online amendment form.
If you don’t know your future dates, leave the calendar blank.
Our team will get back to you to make the amendment.
Please note: this may take a few weeks as we are dealing with very high volumes of requests. -
How long will it take you to amend my flight?
Once you have requested an amendment via our online form, it may be a few weeks before we contact you as we are dealing with a very high number of requests.

Do I wait for my flight to be cancelled before I make an amendment?
No, if you’re due to travel this year, most airlines will allow you to make an amendment. This does vary by airline, please check their policy here or check on their website.
What options do I have if the airline has changed my flight?

I have had a schedule change to my flight, what now?
Schedule changes are made by the airline, if you are unhappy with a schedule change please contact our team who will be able to discuss the limitations.

I have been scheduled to change to a different airport, do I have to accept this flight alternative?
Yes, however, in some circumstances airlines are allowing you to cancel if the new airport is unsuitable.
Can I cancel my booking?

Will I get a refund if I cancel my trip?
This depends on the airline’s policy, you can check their policy here or on their website.

Do I have to accept a credit note?
As we are a ticketing agent for the airline we must follow the policy set out by the airline. If their policy is to offer a voucher then we must abide by this and will be unable to offer a cash alternative.

My flight looks like it is still going. I don't want to travel - what do I do?
If your flight is still due to depart but you want to cancel, please check your airline's policy. Cancelling a flight that is not covered by a flexible policy may result in the flight becoming non-refundable, as standard booking conditions will apply.

What happens if my flight is going and the country border is closed?
If the flight departs but you are unable to enter the country then you will need to make a claim on your travel insurance.

Will I get charged if I cancel my flight before an airline cancels it?
It all depends on the terms of your ticket, if you have booked a non-refundable, non-amendable ticket then you will be charged. The majority of airlines however are allowing amendments to bookings, the airline flexible policies can be found here.

How do I know if I can claim on my travel insurance?
Firstly, check your insurance policy or speak to your insurance provider. If you need any documentation we will be happy to provide for you.

What do I need from Netflights in order to complete an insurance claim?
Once your booking has been cancelled, you will receive a cancellation invoice. If you require anything further, please let us know.

How do I contact you to cancel my booking?
Please complete our cancellation form, we will then contact you in due course.

How long are refunds taking?
As a booking agent for the airlines, your money is sent to the airline after you book. When you request a refund we then need to await the return of monies from the airline before the funds can be returned to you. Normally refunds take around 45 days, however under the current circumstances the process is taking much longer due to the exceptional demand.

How will I know if my flight is cancelled or going?
Visit the 'my booking' section of the airline’s website. Here you will find all the up-to-date information about your scheduled flight.

If my flight is cancelled what happens to hotel or car bookings I have?
We would need to check the booking conditions of your hotel or car booking. If a refund is applicable, we will seek this on your behalf. Please advise us by completing our cancellation form, we will then contact you in due course.

How do I get a credit voucher for my flight?
