Koh Samui
The three main areas for shopping are the markets in Chaweng, Lamai, and in Nathon, all of which offer a great range of locally produced goods and are an excellent place to pick up souvenirs, such as local handicrafts, and Thai Silk, which is very popular.
Shopping on Koh Samui is excellent. There are many fabulous stalls and shops around the main beach areas. Chaweng is Koh Samui's main tourist hub, and has the most choice when it comes to shopping. The main road along the beach is lined with local stalls selling souvenirs, clothes and electronics, as well as designer stores which stock internationally famous clothing and goods brands.
