Protection we offer:


Package holidays (Flight + Hotel)

  • ATOL protected

If you book a package holiday including a flight, this will be ATOL protected. Our ATOL number is 2916. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure you are not stranded abroad, and will arrange to refund you any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. For further information visit the ATOL website at www.atol.org.uk. An option for Airline Failure Protection is also offered on all our holidays that include a flight so that in the event the Airline on which you are due to travel ceases to trade, we are able to arrange alternative flights (if available), or issue you with a refund, as appropriate.


Flight only bookings (booked online)

  • Tickets issued within 24 hours
  • Airline Failure Protection option

If you book a flight on our website and pay in full at the time of booking, we will issue your flight tickets immediately. This will provide you with the security of knowing you have a valid ticket for travel even in the unlikely event we cease to trade. This means your airline ticket does not need to be ATOL protected by us. An option for Airline Failure Protection is offered on all flight bookings so that in the event the Airline on which you are due to travel ceases to trade, we are able to arrange alternative flights (if available), or issue you with a refund, as appropriate. *In a small number of cases, a flight only may be ATOL protected by us depending on the type of fare, airline and timing which tickets are issued. Where this is the case this will be shown on our website and your confirmation invoice.


Accommodation and/or car hire bookings without a flight

  • Check your Travel Insurance / Pay by Credit Card

These are not subject to a scheme of financial protection. If this is important to you, we recommend you obtain suitable travel insurance to provide cover for these arrangements. You may also have some protection if you book and pay with a credit card.


Flights and holidays booked by telephone

  • Ask for details

Any bookings made through our call centre will be made through Netflights Holidays and will be subject to their financial protection arrangements. You will be advised at the time of booking what financial protection applies as this may vary depending upon the type of product you have booked.
