British Airways is a premier UK airline with more than 90 years in the business, building a respected reputation for being a hugely successful airline. With planes flying to a huge number of destinations worldwide, BA flights depart from all major London airports; Heathrow, Gatwick and London City.
Based on its fleet size, international flights and international destinations, British Airways is the largest airline within the UK, and the second largest based on passengers alone. With the airline’s main hub situated at London Heathrow, BA own 40% of the flight slots available and operate primarily from the world famous Terminal 5.
However, the presence of the airline at other airports, such as Gatwick has increased significantly in recent years, due to the airport’s increased popularity.
