Despite being founded just two decades ago, the national carrier of Oman has quickly become a modern, award-winning airline. Based in Muscat, and flying to more than 40 destinations, it has won several awards for its business and economy classes, and for overall quality. A gold award for Airline of the Year, Best Middle Eastern Luxury Airline, and Best International Business Class, are just a few recent accolades. Uniquely, Oman Air offer the only non-stop flight to Oman from Heathrow, and has also recently introduced new onward flights, including Sri Lanka, The Maldives, Nepal, Zanzibar, Dar Es Salaam, Thailand, India and Malaysia. Oman Air was the first to introduce the Boeing Next Generation 737.
