Baggage Allowance - Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific flights; passengers who go over their free allowance will be charged an excess baggage fee.
Each passenger may carry one cabin bag of 56x36x23cm in size. In economy, this bag should not weigh more than 7kg, in business class 10kg and first class 15kg. From London Heathrow, passengers in Business and First class may also carry one extra thin garment bag (not exceeding 20cm thick when folded in half) OR one soft bag of the same size.

Passengers in economy may check-in a bag of up to 20kg. Dimensions should not exceed 158cm total. Passengers in Business Class may check-in a bag of up to 30kg weight and dimensions of up to 158cm total. Passengers in First Class may check-in a bag of up to 40kg and dimensions totalling 158cm.
On flights to or from the USA, Canada and some South American countries, passengers may check in an additional bag; check before your flight.
Musical instruments may be carried into the cabin or checked into the hold, but must be kept inside a sturdy and protective hard case with rounded edges.
