Flying to Las Vegas you’ll arrive at McCarran Airport, situated just a mile or so from the Las Vegas strip, making transfers to hotels a breeze.
Served by two terminals, the airport sees more than 40 million people passing through each year, making it one of the world’s busiest airports. Transport from the airport is also quick and efficient and comes in various forms, including taxi, shuttle, bus, rental car and even limousine, there’s also an inter-terminal shuttle for those moving between airport terminals. Featured in several films throughout the years, the airport is also well fitted for those waiting for flights. With various luxury amenities, public art to observe and more than 1,000 slot machines throughout, the fun of Vegas begins and ends in the airport.

Transporting you between Terminals 1 and 3 the shuttle runs every 12 – 15 minutes. From Terminal 1 head to level zero and take the crossing toward the covered parking garage, where you’ll find the shuttle stop. For Terminal 3 travellers, head to level zero and head to the centre of the curb.
With more than 10 taxi companies providing transport to various locations throughout Las Vegas, getting a connection shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re at Terminal 1, the taxis are found to the east side of the baggage claim outside doors 1 to 4. At Terminal 3 taxis are located outside level zero, providing 20 taxi loading bays on the west of the building for domestic travellers, and 10 bays on the east side for international travellers.
Airport personnel are available to help queue lines and provide assistance if needed at all taxi areas.
This efficient and eco-friendly form of transport is an excellent way to ensure a quick and easy transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Shuttles at Terminal 1 can be found to the west of the baggage claim outside doors 1 – 7. Shuttles at Terminal 3 can be found outside level zero, with domestic travellers being served to the west side of the building and international travellers to the east.
There are regular buses connecting the airport to various locations throughout Las Vegas. At Terminal 1 the bus stop can be found on level zero across the pedestrian crosswalk. Terminal 3 does not have a bus stop; however the inter-terminal shuttle can take you to Terminal 1.
Although there isn’t a car rental service at the airport, there is one located just three miles away where you can pre-rent your car.
From Terminal 1, customers that have rented a car will be transported by blue and white McCarran rent-a-car shuttles, to the car rental service. This rental car shuttle can be found at the center median outside doors 10 – 11.
From Terminal 3 head to level zero and proceed to the west doors 51 – 54 and east doors 55 – 58, where you’ll find the shuttles, which run every five minutes.
