Auckland has a warm, moist, almost sub-tropical climate. The city experiences rather dry, warm summers and mild, wet winters. The city is comfortable to visit all year round except perhaps in the summer months (December-February) when heat and humidity create rather sticky days and nights, averaging a daytime temperature of around 25 degrees Centigrade. Spring (September-November) is the most pleasant time to visit, with rainfall low and temperatures in the low 20’s Centigrade.
