• How to get to Belfast City Airport

  By car

  Use the A2 Sydenham bypass to get to Belfast City airport by car,

  By train

  NI Railways operates services to and from Sydenham Station, which is just over a footbridge from the airport.

  Translink Metro route 600 “Airlink” runs every 30 min to Belfast Grand Central (Lanyon Place)

  What parking options are available at Belfast City Airport?

  • Short Stay Car Park: directly opposite the terminal.

  • Long Stay Car Park: a 3–5 min walk.

  • Premier Car Park: 3 min drive, includes 2 fast-track security passes.

  What are the parking charges and policies?

  • Short Stay: 1 day from £50; daily thereafter £65.

  • Long Stay: 1–10 min free; 10–60 min £6; 60 min–24 h £40; 1–2 days £60; 2–3 days £70; daily thereafter £20.

  • Premier Parking: pre-book online for best rates (includes Fast Track passes).

• Electric car charging

  EV charging facilities are available on the short stay car park. There are 12 charging bays. Unfortunately, these spaces can't be pre-booked.

• Is it free to drop off / pick up?

  Yes, you get 10 minutes' free parking on the long stay car park, which is just a couple of minutes walk from the terminal. If you want to drop off or collect passengers from the Express Drop Off area, there's a £3 charge.
  
  Blue Badge holders get 2 hours' free parking in the short stay car park opposite the terminal.
  

• Is there a smoking area?

  No. You can only smoke outside the airport. As soon as you enter, there's no smoking or vaping until you reach your destination.

• How long do I need to be at Belfast City Airport before my flight?

  Check-in opens 2 hours before departure for most airlines—plan to arrive at least 2 hours before your flight. Security averages under 6 minutes. Speedy!
