What does ATOL offer?
Financial protection and the means to return home for flight inclusive holidays if the company you book with fails.
How does ATOL differ from ABTA?
Some ABTA members offer additional financial protection for non-ATOL products. ABTA members are governed by ABTA’s Code of Conduct, under which you will receive high service standards before, during and after booking your holiday.
Did you know?
If you book a flight & hotel/car hire separately, but through the same company and within 24 hours of each other, you are ATOL protected - this is known as a Flight-plus holiday.

Penang holidays

Get the most out of your Penang holiday by immersing yourself in the endless possibilities, whether it's soaking up the rays or planning out your sightseeing.

Get the most out of your Penang holiday by immersing yourself in the endless possibilities, whether it's soaking up the rays or planning out your sightseeing. Penang is a beautiful location that is enhanced by its offerings, in particular those of a culinary nature. Sample the street food, which encompasses Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisine, a quick and cheap way to treat your taste buds.

Work off those calories with a trek up Penang Hill through the Botanic Gardens and lush rainforest. If three hours is too much for you, there's a cable car that will whisk you up to the summit 821m above sea level in thirty minutes. Soak up the island's culture with a stroll through the streets of George Town, the World Heritage listed capital, or visit the many churches, temples and mosques, including the Snake Temple for those brave enough..!

Head to the National Park to enjoy the pristine beach, meromictic lake, fishing and trekking, or take a boat trip to the neighbouring islands. If all this sounds like a little too much effort, kick back and relax on Batu Ferringhi Beach until the night markets and hawkers come out to play.
