There is an impressive range of eating options at the Centara Grand Beach Resort.

The Cove Restaurant

Eating and drinking at the Centara Grand Beach Resort on Phuket begins with The Cove, serving international and Asian ‘melting pot’ cuisine, which you can enjoy all-day, indoors or out in a beachfront setting.

Coast Beach Club & Bistro

The Coast Beach Club & Bistro is a great place to take a break from the sun and sea, and sip a sun downer cocktail overlooking beautiful Karon Bay. Besides the chilled draft beer, freshly-squeezed juices and tropical cocktails, it serves made-to-order snacks like New York-style Deli sandwiches, crisp garden salads and Thai snacks.

Mare Restaurant

At Mare, the food is classically Italian. Down on the beachfront, you can enjoy freshly-cooked pasta, salads, fish and meat dishes for lunch or dinner. At night, head up onto the roof of Mare for nightly entertainment under the stars or, if you prefer, indoors.

Luna Bar

Rooftop relaxtion is on the menu at Luna Bar. Located above Mare Restaurant, you'll find a delectable choice of snacks and cocktails served alongside breathtaking views.

Splash

When you’re close to the main pool, or better still, in it, you can swim-up for refreshments at Splash. Besides the swim-up bar’s cocktails and soft drinks, you can order light refreshments and snacks.

Ripples

At the adult pool, Ripples serves a similar array of refreshing drinks, tasty bites and light snacks.

Lobby Lounge

Inside the resort, the Lobby Lounge is the perfect place to meet for a quiet cup of tea, or a drink and light snack.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort makes it easy to have fun, beginning with four swimming pools. There’s a main pool, a jacuzzi pool, an adult area and one just for the kids. Kids will love splashing around in the central landscaped water-park feature, including a lazy river, waterslides, waterfalls, and more. All free to resort guests, of course.

There are even more supervised holiday activities awaiting in the Kids’ Clubs. Camp Safari caters for 4 to 9 year-olds, whilst the E-Zone is for the older ones, with video games for children aged 10 to 17.

Well-being enthusiasts will warm to the large, well-equipped fitness centres, including a tennis court and an aerobics studio. For a truly recuperative experience, head for the Spa Cenvaree, an oasis with the gentle touch of traditional Thai décor and ambience, so spacious and calming.

In one of the ten five-star en-suite facilities, each with a private sunken jacuzzi, you can enjoy a signature treatment like the Thai harmony Four Hands massage, or the Salt Pot Experience. A relaxation lounge, tinkling waterfalls, Vichy shower rooms, a nail salon, and sauna/steam rooms complete the picture.

Active types can fill their days with all manner of activities, like jungle treks, go-kart racing, sea-canoeing, shooting, bungee jumping, or a little shopping along the walkway from the beach to the resort.

At night, enjoy sunset cocktails at one of the bars, a karaoke session, the resident band, or take a shuttle bus to sample the late-night life of nearby Patong. Dining is taken care of with a choice of international, Asian, or classical Italian cuisines. And a number of bars make socialising easy, day or night, indoors and out.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort is the perfect host and home for business and social meetings of all sizes. The wide choice of versatile convention and meeting rooms ranges from a ballroom big enough for 780 seated, to more intimate and discrete boardrooms for a dozen or so delegates. Of course, all the very latest technology for communication and presentation is on hand, with well-trained staff to make things go smoothly.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort, Phuket is a truly romantic venue for weddings and receptions too. From serene water ceremonies to celebrations with all the extras and little touches; professional wedding organisers will ensure it’s a day (or days) to remember forever.

Destination info

Phuket is a real tropical paradise. Thailand’s largest island has some of the finest beaches on earth. There's no real surprise that it's a popular holiday destination for travellers across the globe!

Phuket Town is full of surprising little streets and well worth spending time exploring on foot. Look for its fascinating markets, Chinese shrines, Buddhist temples and shopping, both traditional and modern.

The Sirinath National Park on the Andaman coast has a rich and diverse marine environment with pristine corals and a colourful array of other marine life.

In Phuket Zoo, you’ll have a close encounter with thousands of creatures, like crocodiles, camels, tigers, ostriches, emus, and other rare birds. Look out for the beautiful orchids and the exotic water world in the aquarium.

The Phi Phi Islands have been in the movies, starring in ‘The Beach’. Towering cliffs, beach-fronted jungle, and plenty of deserted sands are a 90 minute ferry ride from Phuket.

The best place to watch the sunset on Phuket Island is at its southernmost point: Phrom Thep Cape. The name of the lighthouse is quite a mouthful: Kanchanaphisek. Its museum is worth a peek too.
