Cabins - US Airways

Economy Class

Seats in US Airways Economy Class have a pitch of between 30 and 33 inches and a width of 17-18 inches. Many of the newer aircraft used on long haul services include a personal video screen located in the seat back which includes movies, games and TV shows in a range of languages. Passengers may need to purchase headphones on-board to be able to enjoy all the benefits of the entertainment systems. On transatlantic flights, the in-flight magazine, meals and non-alcoholic drinks are free.

Economy passengers who choose to dine on board will be offered a range of fine wines, artisan breads, vegetarian options and meals tailored to the flight destination.

Business Class

US Airways business class is marketed as Envoy Class; the service offers larger, more comfortable seats, which in many cases recline into an almost flat sleeper position. Some aircraft, including the Airbus A330-200 include entirely flat seats, which also feature a semi private pod for passengers who require in-flight privacy. Envoy sleeper seats, on Airbus A330-300 aircraft have the largest seat pitch (94 inches) of any commercial flight in the world to date. Business class passengers also enjoy a power outlet at their seat and a personal entertainment device with a selection of On-Demand-Audio-Visual programming. Passengers travelling business class also receive complimentary food and beverages on all flights.

Passengers dining in Envoy class can choose from main meals including: Entree options including fish, chicken, lamb, choice filets or a vegetarian option, a fresh, seasonal salad, an appetizer, fruit and cheese; choice of dessert trio or mousse. For overnight flights, breakfast will also be offered upon arrival.

First Class

Passengers flying US Airways First Class will enjoy dedicated check-in at the airport, priority baggage handling and boarding as well as larger, more comfortable seats. A quiet, separate area of the cabin allows passengers to relax comfortably, with increased legroom, audio visual entertainment on some flights and complimentary meals and beverages, including premium wine, beer and spirits.

Dining in First Class is an enjoyable experience; your meal will depend on your destination and flight duration. For flights less than 1.5 hours in length, a snack will be offered, which may include a biscuit or the savoury cocktail mix. On flights up to 3.5 hours passengers are offered a snack basket including speciality snacks.

On flights longer than 3.5 hours, passengers will be offered a meal appropriate to the time of day; breakfast is served between 5am and 9am, lunch is served until 3pm and dinner is served until 8pm. For all meals there is a selection of hearty or lighter dishes, according to your desire.
