Winelands, Waterways & Wildlife Tour - 8 days

Day 1 Adelaide
Arrive in Adelaide and spend the day at leisure to explore this cosmopolitan city. Visit the central markets, wander along the North Terrace taking in the museum or pay a visit to the Adelaide Oval. Spend the evening exploring the laneway bars and dine in one of the many exciting restaurants the city has to offer.

Day 2 Barossa
Travel to the famous Barossa Valley region to see and sample world renowned wines. Here you’ll tour the award winning Jacob’s Creek vineyard and visitor centre tasting some of their most famous wine. On the way back to Adelaide you’ll stop off at Hahndorf to peruse the local craft shops.

Days 3 & 4 Kangaroo Island
Hop on-board the ferry to Kangaroo Island. You’ll be greeted by a local guide who will take you on a tour of Clifford’s Honey Farm before introducing you to the local sea lions on a walk to Seal Bay. Finish off the day with a spectacular bird of prey show and enjoy the buzz of pelican feeding time.

In the morning, get up close and personal with a Australia’s most famous inhabitant – today you’ll be feeding a kangaroo! Take a stroll along Remarkable Rocks at Flinders Chase National Park and see the fur seal colony at Admirals Arch. End the day with a return to Adelaide.

Day 5 Murray River Cruise
Welcome aboard the PS Murray Princess, enjoy a welcome drink as you cruise downriver before a leisurely evening meal with wonderful views.

Day 6 Mundarra - Craignook
On arrival at Murray Bridge embark for a tour of the town’s historic landmarks and attractions. Back on-board, dine as you journey up river with fabulous evening entertainment.

Day 7 Craignook – River View Lodge

Immerse yourself in the region as you find out about the riverland’s food and wine trail. The afternoon has a backwater tour in store before dinner, drinks and dancing with the Captain.

Day 8 Adelaide
Enjoy breakfast as you arrive at your final call of Mannun before returning to Adelaide.

Day 1 & 2 Adelaide

Day 4 Robe
Today, your journey takes you to the celebrated seaside town of Robe. This breath-taking route passes by the historic town of Mannum, the majestic Murray River and the splendid coastal lagoon systems of Coorong National Park.

Day 5 Grampians National Park or Mount Gambier
The decision is yours…. Wake up and decide which route you want to take. Follow the trail through the picturesque Grampians National Park for a unique Australian experience where bush- walking and biking trails await. Or, take the shorter, coastal route past Mount Gambier arriving in the quaint fishing village of Port Fairy.

Day 6 Port Fairy – Lorne / Apollo Bay
Wake up bright and early and journey to Loch Ard Gorge or ‘Shipwreck Coast’ as it is known locally. Stop and take a picture of the natural wonder of the ‘The Twelve Apostles’ – a collection of giant stone pillars. Pass through Cape Otway and see the lighthouse whose cables used to connect to Tasmania. Back on the road, head for Lorne or Apollo Bay and make this your home for the night.

Day 7 - 10 Melbourne
Your final drive takes you along the coast past Bells Beach to the surfing capital of Australia – Torquay. After catching some waves, head along Port Phillip Bay to Melbourne. Rest and relax in Melbourne or make the most of the city life before you journey on home.

Day 11
Say goodbye to Australia as you depart for your onward journey home.

Head towards Flinders Ranges and enjoy 2 days exploring this distinctive landscape, venture on a trek or tour, before spending two evenings at an eco-villa.

Day 6 & 7 Coober Peddy
Arrive in Coober Peddy and be marvelled by the opal capital of the world. See opals in their splendour before exloring the local area, witness the natural wonders and sample the local delicacies.

Day 8 Port Augusta
Take to the road and travel to Port Augusta, known locally as the gateway to the mighty outback, treat yourself to some retail therapy at the main shopping district or explore the surrounding sights - why not the Wadlata Outback Centre.

Day 9
Back in Adelaide, soak up the sights and squeeze every last drop out of this unforgettable city.
