Some ABTA members offer additional financial protection for non-ATOL products. ABTA members are governed by ABTA’s Code of Conduct, under which you will receive high service standards before, during and after booking your holiday.
Did you know?
If you book a flight & hotel/car hire separately, but through the same company and within 24 hours of each other, you are ATOL protected - this is known as a Flight-plus holiday.

Holidays in Indonesia

Perhaps Indonesia’s most well-known destination for holidaymakers is Bali, a comparatively small island that is nestled next to Java, home to the country’s capital city, Jakarta, and the imposing Mount Bromo volcano. Bali is renowned for its stunning setting and for being a big hit among Australian tourists. The island is well geared up for tourism, and offers plenty of attractions for sun-seeking holidaymakers.

Kuta is the place to go for the nightlife, while those looking to catch some waves should head to a spot such as Uluwatu. Nearby you’ll find the simply epic Pura Luhur temple, which is perched atop a cliff and is a breath-taking place to watch the day draw to a close - just watch out for the monkeys that try to pinch your hat or sunglasses.

To further explore the island’s native inhabitants head to Ubud’s monkey forest, one of the few inland places in Bali that draws many visitors. Visit the rice paddies and relax with some yoga, and don't forget to visit the markets. Head over to the Gili Islands just off the coast of Lombok and enjoy some first-rate diving.

Make the most of Sumatra, a large island to the west of Bali and Java. Bukit Lawang is an absorbing jungle settlement around 60 miles from capital Medan, and one of the last remaining places in the world where it is possible to see wild orang-utans - an absolute must for wildlife-lovers.
