Singapore - Airport Guide
Singapore Changi Airport is huge and impressively complete with more shops, spas, bars and restaurants than you could ever need - no matter how delayed your flight is or how bored the family get! Getting to and from the airport is simplicity itself. It’s only around half an hour away from Orchard Road, and a joined-up transportation policy makes the journey effortlessly simple. Taxis are available at the taxi stands at the Arrival levels of each Terminal. The journey to the city takes around half an hour and will cost around $30. Expect a $5 surcharge in the evenings, and a 50% increase after midnight.

Limos and Buses
Limousines, the service for larger parties, are available at every terminal. Limousines will set you back around $45 for a four-seater, or $55 for a seven-seater. Ask at the Service Centre for details. Buses - Singapore’s excellent public service bus routes are ideal for travelling on a budget. The number 36 goes to the city from around 6.00am to midnight. A single fare costs below $2.00 and takes about an hour. Bus stops are located at the basement bus bays of Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Trains and Shuttles
It's exact fare only for trains to get to the city and then passengers need to transfer from the Changi Airport Station to the west bound train at Tanah Merah train station. The last train service leaves Changi Airport station at around 11pm. The Airport Shuttle Service serves most hotels in Singapore - for more details, visit the Ground Transport Desk in the Arrivals Hall. Rates are around $9 for adults, $6 for children. The journey takes around 45 minutes.
