Getting around the airport

The airport is large, but it has many escalators and moving walkways to help you get around faster. There is also a free shuttle bus to transport you between terminals 1 and 3. It runs frequently throughout the day.

Getting to the city from the airport

There are a number of transport options to take from the airport into Tel Aviv. The airport is very close to a motorway which goes straight to the city. As a result, you can opt for a direct public bus service, or take a train from the station. The station is located in the lower level of Terminal 3; it will take you about 20 minutes to reach the city centre from there. If you’d prefer the flexibility of a car, there are numerous car hire agencies to choose from. A free shuttle bus will take you from the terminal building to the car parks.

Don’t forget before you fly

If you are a British citizen you won’t need a visa to enter Israel as a tourist. However, you will be granted leave to enter when you arrive, for a period of up to three months, and given an entry card.
