With sunny days, sand beaches, sizzling nightlife and some of the most exciting attractions in the world Orlando has everything for a great holiday.
The new I-Ride trolley service is a good way to get around along International Drive outside the resort. It connects up several of the local shopping outlets, for example.
Remember, Orlando is not all about theme parks. Golfers will love the sunny weather with dozens of championship golf courses. The Atlantic Ocean beaches are a 45 minute drive away for surfing, boating, deep sea fishing and just lazing around too, of course.
A little further away (90 mins) are the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico on Florida’s West Coast. Tampa Bay is home to the highly-entertaining Busch Gardens and plenty of outdoor adventures.
Turtle Trek is the latest attraction at neighbouring SeaWorld. It includes a 3D 360° movie experience that takes you along a dramatic journey with these ancient, but now endangered creatures.
SeaWorld’s rides include the Manta, a flying roller coaster that was the first of its kind. The Kraken ride is Orlando’s only floorless coaster. Wild!
If you want to get right up close to dolphins, sting rays and tropical fish, swim with them at SeaWorld’s unique Discovery Cove.
