Nuremberg Airport (NUE), also known as Albrecht Dürer Flughafen Nürnberg in German, is the second-busiest airport in Bavaria and is located about five kilometres from Nuremberg.
There are flights to Nuremberg available from most major airports across the UK, including Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Edinburgh and George Best Belfast City Airports, from several popular airlines, such as Air France, Austrian Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Lufthansa, SN Brussels Airlines and Swiss Airlines. Although there are no direct flights available from the UK, all return flights require only a single stop along the way with stopovers in cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Zurich. On Arrival and Getting Around the Airport

Nuremberg Airport is a single-terminal building with two levels. The ground floor is the entrance and exit for the terminal with the arrivals hall and two departures halls. Check-in desks and baggage claims are also located in this area. The first level is for both departing and arriving Nuremberg flights, and includes an observation deck. NUE has a number of amenities such as ATMs, currency exchange, baggage trolleys, shops, restaurants and bars, luggage lockers, rest zones and free Wi-Fi. Additional amenities include VIP services, late night check-in, airport tours, a beauty salon, a bookshop, designated smoking area and children’s play area.

Getting to the City from Nuremberg Airport (NUE)

NUE offers four different ways to travel into the city: bus, rail, taxi or car hire. The U2 underground line is a quick and cheap option that reaches the city centre in just 12 minutes. Intercity buses are also a cheap alternative and take 15-20 minutes from the bus stop in front of the departures hall. Taxis can be found outside the terminal and are available 24 hours a day. Don't Forget Before you Fly

Before travelling to Nuremberg, it is always a good idea to bring some euro with you.
